Free cookery demonstrations, tasters and recipes (including smoothies, and Indian fayre) will be taking place on Thursday 30 October at Filton Local Produce Market, Filton Sports centre, Elm Park from 10.30am - 2.30pm. Go along and taste for yourself! First demonstration on making Indian snacks starts at 11.30am

"Taste" Festival 2008
Just one of the many positive comments received after the South Gloucestershire 2008 “Taste" Food & Drink Festival came to an end on 12 October. It was a great success with just under 9,000 people attending a series of 27 separate events! This figure is double the attendances of the 2007 festival - a sure sign that more and more people are become aware of the Festival, and interested in supporting local producers.
The South Gloucestershire Local Food Partnership wishes to thank all those producers who took part.
